Welcome to the team! Tell us a little about yourself.
I’m thrilled to be part of the Noetic family. I’m originally from Maryland and have spent my entire life here. Twenty-five years ago, I met my husband during Thanksgiving weekend, and we’ve been happily married ever since. For 18 years, I was a stay-at-home mom, and recently, I decided to venture back into the work world. I’m a proud mom to two daughters, aged 23 and 21, and I share my home with three adorable dogs.

What led you to apply to join the team at Noetic?
Noetic’s emphasis of valuing people, being women-owned, and supporting small businesses felt aligned with my values. Embracing challenges and my love for numbers motivated me to apply.
Which Noetic value do you resonate with most?

I truly embrace the philosophy of “be the change you wish to see in the world.” Also, the value of curious spirit really resonates with me. I’ve earned the playful nickname “YouTube mechanic” due to my fondness for learning and fixing things independently.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Assisting Nancie, our leader, with her schedule and reducing her stress. Supporting the team, planning onsite events, and keeping things up-to-date brings me joy.
What is your dream in ten years?
Over the next ten years, my dream is to reside on the shores of Lake Norman, a place I hold dear to my heart. Also, to continue to pursue my entrepreneurial passion and run my cookie business, which I’ve affectionately named “Sweet Button Bakery.”
How have you seen the business world evolve in the last decade?
AI advancements in the past three years have been mind-boggling, especially in academia.
Is there anything else you would like to share?
During my first year at Noetic, I’m eager to deepen my involvement in the day-to-day operations with Nancie, building trust and supporting her in establishing a stronger foundation. Apart from my dedication to Noetic, I’m a proud owner of a lively 6-pound Yorkie named Belle, lovingly named after Tinkerbell.
